A. P. CANALE WINS AGAIN Hakes Score Three Straight When He Captures the Feature Purse at Beulah. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 22.-A. P. Canale, J. Orans six-year-old, made it three straight , for Jefferson Park and Beulah Park this afternoon, when he took down the Kingdon Theater Purse, the fifth race on the days i card. The finish was an interesting one, with the more heavily weighted Son Ami closing fast and offering contention every, foot of the last, eighth. Spectre hjsq finished fast in third place. The program began with the favorite. Bunny Hug, winning the first race for V. Cloud. Annes Pal was second and Marura third. At the finish of the second Lord Valentine led by three lengths. Black Boy closed very fast in the stretch to beat out the tiring Adorable. Passenger was the winner Of the third for J.. Bronnenberg, leading all the way. Ren-barg was close up for a considerable distance, then tired and gave, way to Wind Flower. Dr. Charlie met with interference. The fourth went to Moselle S., second choice in the betting. She was always best and was in a length ahead of Asgo. Laguna was third. V. Clouds Bunny Hug beat the first band of two-year-olds paraded at the meeting when he won the opening dash, at four and U half furlongs. Bunny Hug is a chestnut colt by Semprolus Beula. He was in front all the way. Annes Pal never was worse than second. Marau finished -third. Burney rode the, winner.
