HUNTER RACES POPULAR BALTIMORE, Md., May 2. Races for hunters are taking a hold on the public. Many of the different racing associations realizing this fact have come out with an announcement that in future the hunting set will be catered to. With this end in view the Westchester Racing Association is giving two races for hunters, and purses of ,500 are added to each. One of them will be run May 23, and the other in the fall. The Eastern Horse Club will present to the owner of the winner a piece of plate valued at 00, and Henry W. Bull, president of the Saratoga Racing Association, will present to the rider of the winner a piece of plate.
