RAFFLER CON went well to the last sixteenth, then tired, but held the others safe. MERIW1CK raced in close quarters for the first half, but finished well. WATTAHORSE closed fast in the stretch on the outside. WIND FLOWER. WOODY LONG and LOTHARIO showed good speed, but tired. SWEET EVELYN saved much eround on the stretch turn, then tired badlv in the last eighth. ONE CENT closed with a rush on the outside in the last eighth. HOGARTY raced close up throughout and held on well. MERRY ■ WINDSOR had no excuses and quit in the last eighth. GLAD EFFORT was going well at the end. The others were always outrun.
