BRIGHT MOON took the lead on the inside, but failed to hold it. DEL DIXI raced wide. LADY SUPERIOR, taken to the outside on the first turn, tired after racing close up. FAIR BILLOWS forced the early pace under mild urgine and. quickly shaking off BOURBONITE after entering the stretch, swerved badly after drawing clear and, impeding BOURBONITE in the last eighth, was disqualified. BOLRBONITE showed speed from the start, dropped back as if through approaching the final three-sixteenths, but came again on the inside and had to be eased up when FAIR BILLOWS caromed into her. PRINCE MEGAN, outrun early, closed fast. FLUENT held on well. POLYP had no excuses. BEN ERSKINE was outrun. FqOOI THIRD RACE— 7-8 Mile. Ruddy Light. June 2. 1923— :59— 2— 112.
