, ] s ; ] ] ] | ] ] * 1 1 I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES m $ LEXINGTON. Ky.. May 22. W. E. Caskey. Jr.. owner of Bramble Farm, left here this morning for Bainbridge Park, where his horses are stabled. He had been to Louisville, where he met Messrs. W. E. Hupp and John A. Judy of Lexington and agreed to train eight horses for them, which are being shipped today from Churchill Downs to Bainbridge. They are: Bobs Play, Bubble On. Bubola. Dear Duff. Mary Cobb, Miss Ida. Prince Feather and Red Vest. T. A. Baldwin of Nashville. Tenn.. has sold the horses he bought at the Himyar Stud dispersal sale last week to J. W." Frye of Lexington. Included in the deal are the stallion Donnacona and eighteen mares. Arrangements have been made to have them remain at Old Hickory Farm. James Lucas has resigned as superintendent of the Le Mar Stock Farm, to accept a similar position at William Du Pont s Fox-catcher Farms in Virginia. Thomas Coleman, for three years employed by Frederick Johnson as superintendent of the stud of thoroughbreds he recently disposed of, is to succeed Lucas at Le Mar Stock Farm. Robert Sterling Clark, who has be?n here several days attending the sales and inspecting his breeding stock at his farm near Lexington, left last night for New York.
