RADIO RACING FEATURE Judge C. W. Hay, general manager of Washington Park Jockey Club, is sponsoring a radio feature during the thirty days of the meeting he is to conduct, beginning next Monday. "The Romances of the Thoroughbred" will be Ed Johnstones theme, in a fifteen-minute broadcast over WBBM 770 kilocycles, 389.4 meters, every night from 9:15 to 9:30 oclock, except Thursdays, when the opening time will be 8:15. The introductory talk by Mr. Johnstone will be Sunday evening at 7:30 oclockj thereafter as indicated. Mr. Johnstone, newspaper writer and world traveler, is a student of thoroughbred breeding. His discussion will include horses in history and intimate facts in connection with their origin and performances, all in graphic style.
