SIR JONATHAN forced the pace from the start and, responding to urging in the final sixteenth, finished fast on the inside and outlasted EFJAYBE. The latter responded to urging, bumped his way between the leaders and finished stoutly. CRAIGCO showed earlv speed, but was impeded slightlv when EFJAYBE forced his way up. MAMUS Finished fast from a slow start. GENERAL COURT raced well all the way. RECOMPENSE faltered under pressure. DUSTAWAY was pinched back after the start. OFF AT ONCE. Start good and slow. Won handilv ; second and third easilv. MOHOLI made all his own pace, handled his weight well, shook off PRINCESS CLOVELLY and held her safe in the final eighth. HOE CAKE, under restraint until called upon, moved up resolutely, challenged gamely, then tired at the end. PRINCESS CLOVELLY jumped well, was taken under restraint when she could not assume the lead, then tired when called upon at the end. LUNAR was outrun and had no mishaps. LE DIGARD, under restraint in the early racing, could not get up. ISABELL lost her rider at the fifteenth fence. Overweight-— Isabell, 7£ pounds. rAO-| Q THIRD RACE— 1 1-16 Miles. Dot. Won driving; second and third easily. MOINE was saved behind the early pace and, coming to the outside of the leader entering the stretch, drew away and outlasted FLAMING in the final drive. The latter was taken under restraint and waited with to the stretch turn, where he moved up when called upon, but bore in behind the leaders at the eighth post, was then guided to the outside and finished fast.
