DADE PARK TO OPEN AUGUST 15 LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 22.— With the approval of the State Racing Commission, the regular summer meeting of the Dade Park Jockey Club will open at Dade Park Henderson, Ky. on Saturday, August 15. and run for a period of twenty days, closing on Monday Labor Day, September 7, according to announcement made here today by Thomas C. Bradley, steward in charge of racing at that course. The selection of dates made by Mr. Bradley was approved by James C. Ellis, president of the Dade Park Jockey Club, who visited here yesterday. Application for the dates will be presented at the next meeting of the racing commission. As in 1930. Dade Park will offer no purse of less than 00 and purses of 00 will predominate. The ,000 added Dade Park Handicap, ,000 added Labor Day Handicap, ,500 added Inaugural Handicap and the ,500 A. B. Dade Memorial Handicap will be renewed. A majority of the daily feature races will have 00 attached. Announcement of officials will be made within the next few weeks, Mr. Bradley said. •
