MY CARE, reserved for the first mile, took command at his leisure and, drawing into a winning lead, struck the tenth fence, but recovered gamely and was under pressure at the end to withstand TOTALISATOR. The latter, forwardly placed, jumped well and challenged repeatedly. VESTIP. a factor from the start, jumped boldly until he began to tire in the last half mile. MARCELLA was unable to keep vjp. JOHN SOBIE-KI fell at the fourteenth fence, but was remounted and tinihed the course. FORRESTER fell at the fourteenth jump and GOLD TRAP refused at the sixth. . FOOTMARK, allowed to drop out of it after an eighth, finished with a rush and pulled up lame. DONNY JOHNNY showed a good performance.
