DYAK began slowly, but rapidly worked his way up while racing wide in the first three-sixteenths and, saing ground on the stretch turn, closed with fine speed, disposed of BAND TIME and won in hand. The latter began fast, drew into decisive command on the turn and tired badly under pressure, but was best of the others. GOLD TIP went to the inside on the turn and. kept forwardly under brisk urging, could not get up. TOM MAR had no mishaps. BERTJOHN and KENNY BOY were in close quarters on the turn. BURGOO, saving much ground under a clever ride and close up from the start, responded gamely to vigorous driving after reaching the stretch and, racing through between the leaders near the last eighth, drew dear and outstayed JOEY BIBB. The latter lost much ground, improved his position rapidly on the stretch turn and closed gamely. OVERLAY displayed the most speed throughout, saved ground, then tired in the stretch. MALAITA closed resolutely. GETTIN EVEN tired after showing speed to the stretch and swerved when tiring. HOMER L. was in close quarters on the far turn. TOWN LIMIT, close up for three-eighths, dropped out of it when entering the stretch. The latter, slightly forced hack pa tin turn, tlosed fastest ol all and was wearing down the winner. TOMBEREAU. hustled into the lead, showed good pced to the last eighth, where ho tired, but outstayed BUD BROOM. The latter closed resolutely. NO MORE raced wide under a timid ride and tired.
