Widener of Philadelphia and the recognized champion two-year-old of last year, with only one defeat out of seven starts to mar his record, is scheduled to make his 1931 debut today at Belmont Park. More than ordinary interest is being shown in the first appearance of this magnificent colt, which is looked upon as Twenty Grands greatest rival for three-year-old honors.
