1 Ibelmont park turf notes t NEW YORK. N. Y.. May 26. P. T. Chinn was an arrival Monday from Kentucky and will remain for ten days. While being worked between races Monday, P. M. Walkers Royal Panoply got the best of his rider and unseated him. running away three miles before being caught. Seventeen two-year-olds that P. T. Chinn will sell here next Saturday will be worked publicly Wednesday morning for the benefit of prospective buyers. The first set is scheduled to be worked at 7:30 a. m. Louis Maul, Dwyer representative will return from Jacksonville after a survey of St. Johns with plans for numerous improvements to be made before opening of the winter season. Work has already begun there. Dr. I. Jacobs claimed Trombone, from the C. V. Whitney stable, out of the first race Monday for ,000. T. M. Cassidy, at private sale, has sold to the Dorwood Stable The Beasel, which he purchased from the Cochran disposal sale. G. W. Foreman arrived Monday from Maryland and took charge of Ihe horses that he has here headed by Ned O. A La Carte, winner of the Ohio State Derby, was returned to Aqueduct Monday. Owner Steinhart, of the Alton Stable, made the trip to witness the contest. Jockey F. Catrone has returned from Cleveland, where he rode A La Carte. L. Tauber has returned from Phil.idrh ,: where he visited R. B. Strassburgers Normandy Farm near that city. S. N. Holman has purchased the contract on apprentice Marvin Craig. The boy is from Oklahoma, and is entitled to the seven pounds allowance.
