TARN LEADS AURORA OWNERS i T • Western-Canada Horsemen Credited With Money Winnings of ,250. * Burning Up, Modern Times and La Belotte Victorious on Three Occasions — Mc- Farlin Saddles Most Winners. ♦ The Exposition Jockey Club, operating the . Aurora meeting from May 1 to May 23, twenty racing days, staged one hundred and forty-three races and distributed 23,400, W a daily average of ,170. A. G. Tarn, the western-Canada horseman, 1 was the leading money winning owner, his 1 horses accounting for eleven races, seven 1 second places and three thirds, for a total of ,250 in money winnings. C. W. Moore 1 was second with ,475 in money winnings 1 the result of six first places, three seconds and the same number of thirds. 1 Burning Up was the leading horse, win- J ning three races and earning a sum of ,- J 250. Modern Times, also a three-time win- J ner, earned ,150, and La Belotte, which J won as often as the first named two, was ■ credited with purse winnings amounting to i ,900. ] 1 A. Richard topped L. Cunningham, the leading rider at present, by one winning j mount, scoring in thirteen races, while Cun- -j ningham scored in twelve. J. McFarlin, the Tarn trainer, saddled ten ] winners in all to head the trainer list. 1 Stuart Polk saddled seven winners, C.
