— V 1 — I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES f S . Edward Haughton, trainer of the Green-tree Stable, returned from a hurried trip to Lexington and directed the training of the Greentree horses this morning. He reported that in the future the filly Kincsen will race in his interest, and that he will train the daughter of Cudgel. If stalls can be obtained, the Knebelkamp and Morris stable, headed by the Latonia Derby candidate, Spanish Play, may return to Kentucky for the thirty-one day summer meeting at Latonia. The Valley Lake Stables High Foot is nearing racing condition, and trainer J. B. Partridge hopes to have him under colors early next month. The son of Prince Pal was retired from racing early last year after he failed to regain his 1930 winter form. According to word received here Johnny Jones, well known Kentucky horseman, is so much improved after being threatened with pneumonia that it may be possible for him to leave the Louisville hospital, where he has been confined for the past ten days. The horses he has at Washington Park are in charge of F. F. Brant.
