i I I I , l r i HOW THEY MIGHT HAVE FALLEN MONTREAL Que., May 30.— Racing fol-, lowers in Montreal rubbed their eyes to-i day when entries for the Saturday racing at Delorimier Park contained the illustrious name of Grey Lag, once one of the greatest handicap horses in the country. Grey Lag, winner of many brilliant races on the coun-; trys major tracks, was entered in a claiming race in which the winner was entered to be claimed for 00. At one time Grey Lag was rated as worth at least 0,000. Grey Lag is stabled at Kings Park barns, where he has been working out daily with only a few aware of his identity. He is now the property of A. Cassa, New York horse-; man, who bought him from the Sam Hild-3 reth estate for a small figure following his failure at the stud.
