BRIGHT COMET closed considerable ground, finishing fast, as did MISS ONINE. MISS SUE raced on the outside most of the way and finished well. BOCARATONE began slowlv, but finished fast on the outside. NOAHS PRIDE began slowly, but closed fast and gamely after rounding the far turn, and, going to the inside in the last eighth, was wearing down the winner. FRED ALMY raced forwardly to the stretch, then tired. EPIDEMIC finished fast on the outside. PORTMESS closed ground. COMMANDMAN and ELLEN D. showed earlv speed. KELLEYS PRIDE closed a big gap. FLO ONEILL finished with a rush on the outside. MAGIC CARPET finished well. The others tired.
