: LAT0NIA TURF NOTES q_ $ , LATONIA, Ky., May 30. A. W. Brooker has three horses of P. Youkilis, Cincinnati turfman. Eagle Bird, j which he purchased from J. B. Respess is j among the lot. J. F. Winscher has Respond here for Carroll . Brothers. He took over the horse at Churchill Downs when Rufus Shillings departed , from there to Bainbridge Park. The horses Rita Ann and Biggest, which i Howard Hoffman trained for Carl Kloen-trup are now in charge of H. Van Elliott. Others in the Van Elliott barn are Bombay, Gunner, Just Gene, Glycine, Susans Sister, Princess Donna, Pat Dolan, Sally C. and Donna C. The latter are two-year-olds and are the property of Courtney and Sons, new additions to the owners ranks, who live in Cincinnati. Pat Dolan, a son of I Stimulus, is considered one of the fastest I two-year-olds quartered at the Milldale track. John Daniels, trainer of the Southland I Stable horses, departed for Bainbridge to spend several days. While there he plans , to arrange for apprentice G. Sullivan, whom l he has under contract, returning here for r the local meeting. J. B. Respess, whose pretentious stable is here in charge of Henry Forrest, intends journeying to Chicago for the American i Derby. John McShane arrived from Churchill 1 Downs v/ith the horses Doltaire, Sarcastic j and the gelding Dynamo. The latter, which l formerly raced in the colors of Lon Jones, ;, 1 j l ;, is now in good condition, and McShane hopes to garner several pots with the aged gelding.
