WINGO, racing in the thick of contention from the start, wore down UVTRA leaving the back stretch and, drawing clear, was forced to a drive in the last sixteenth to withstand SARATOGA MAJE. The latter began well, but was taken under light restraint and. moving up on the outside, closed fast. DARK AYRESS, slow to get going, wont to the outside and finished fastest of all. ELLA RUFUS, in close quarters early, was taken to the outside in the last half mile and closed last to* wear down MOSELLE S. BOLD ROBIN, shuffled back in the first eighth, secured room in the final three-eighths and closed gamely. MOSELLE S. showed early speed and, shaking off GRIERSON, had a lot taken out of her and she tired near the end. BROTHER JOHNSON saved ground throughout and finished gamely. CZARINA raced well.
