All members of the license committee of ! the Illinois Turf Association will be present ; at the special meeting of the committee to be held Monday at noon at Washington i Park. A number of applicants for licenses ; will be interviewed. Following the close here the George i Collins stable will be shipped to Latonia by trainer F. W. Fletcher. Barney Sexton brought in Make Believe, , John Mackler, Replevin, Ultramarine, Mor- - sel, Amelia, Madwind and May Leap from i New York. They are among the horses ; Mose Lowenstein will race through the re- • mainder of the Chicago season and came j from Belmont Park. Amelia is owned by i Joseph E. Widener and the others by Low-i • enstein and L. J. Marks. Other of the j Lowenstein horses are due from Louisville. . The Braedalbane Stable, trained by John i Goode; also the horses of Mrs. Francis ; Bacon, Lair and Parrish and M. G. Goode are scheduled for racing at Latonia. The Braedalbane Stable is owned by Jouett ; Shouse and Desha Breckinridge. John Maiben made his first appearance in i colors at the meeting when he rode the s Glen Riddle Farms Hasten in the closing ; race today. George Ellis, who will have the mount on Sunny Iassie in the Illinois Oaks tomorrow, , and Clyde Phillips, chief trainer of the Mid-. dleburg Stable, were arrivals. Phillips developed Sunny Lassie. Maurice Galvin, vice-president of the La- tonia Jockey Club, arrived from Covington i and spent much of the day going over plans for the coming summer meeting at that Kentucky track with Col. M. J. Winn, ex-. ecutive director of the Latonia Jockey Club. Apprentice Tom Roderick, who has been , showing good form in the saddle at Riverside Park, is reporting to the J. W. Parrish , stable, in charge of W. Crump, about Mon- . day. Roderick, a native of Chicago, is . under engagement to F. J. Hudson, who is . turning him over to Crump, a former rider. He can ride as light as ninety pounds and j rode his first winner at the recent Beulah , Park meeting. The condition of jockey Steve ODonnell 1 was reported as somewhat improved today , and he is expected to pull through in a battle with pneumonia. One hundred and twenty-two jockeys are . registered and 230 stable registrations filed 1 at Washington Park. Charles A. Kenney has been engaged to , assist horsemen in moving into the Arlington . Park Jockey Clubs course for the . coming meeting. He will direct the stabling , of all the horses coming to the North West Side track.
