JOCKEYS OUT OF DANGER CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 5— Encourag-1 ing reports were received from attending physicians regarding the condition of the riders who fell in the third race at Bain-i bridge Park Wednesday. Jockey W. Day had 1 improved to a point that he could be removed . from the hospital to his home. His injuries consisted principally of cuts about : the head. Jockey C. Callahan, who suffered 1 several broken ribs and a punctured lung, was resting comfortably shortly after noon today. Unless complications set in, he will recover, his physician reported, this afternoon. Jockey Scurlock escaped with some : twisted ligaments which are not of a serious s nature, but will keep him out of the saddle for some time. Two horses which figured in the fall. Bunting Lad and Kranz Baby, suffered injuries which will cause their absence from i racing for some time. Bunting Lad was j most seriously injured of the pair.
