Y., June 5.— During the afternoon, Desha Breckinridge, editor of the Lexington Herald, sent the following tele-; gram of congratulations to Mr. Widener, over the successful outcome of the Florida racing bill: "May I express to you profound appre-i ciation felt not only by horsemen and sports-[ men, but by practically all intelligent citi-. zens of Kentucky for the service you have rendered by your gallant fight for clean sport in Florida. Not only will it be of ma-. terial benefit to all directly interested in breeding and racing, but it will have ines-, timable effect because of standard of sports-• manship that will be prominent under your leadership.
