WELL HEELED dropped back in the first eighth, improved his position under urging and finished fast. MORDEN showed speed, raced true and, shaking off DOVE and ALTMARK, tired in the final drive. ALTMARK came again under urging in the final few yards. EPOCH showed a good performance throughout. WILD WEST tired under pressure in the final eighth. DOVE stopped badly. ADILENOS had no mishaps. ROYAL TREE was rushed into command after the start, drew away and was then taken in hand and, saving ground, outlasted LINDY. The latter, a factor throughout, moved up fast when called upon and fin- ished well. WESTKO challenged gamely in the stretch, then tired. JIMMY JINGLE was shuffled back on the far turn. MAYBE showed early speed, but tired badly. FRANCOCK had no mishaps. CROYDEN * raced well. SURPASS saved ground.
