PRINCESS NANCY, away well and close up under light restraint for a quarter, responded strongly when Called upon and, racing into the load, won easily. PRINCESS A. O.. hustled along from the start, showed speed and, holding on well, outstayed GALA FLIGHT. The latter began in a tangle, lost ground, bore in repeatedk when hard urged in the stretch and the race may benefit her. SABINA H., close up throughout, tired in the closing stages. CASIMIRA began fast and had no mishaps. DARTER was outrun after keeping close up for a quarter. JUSTINA raced in close quarters until reaching the turn, improved her position gradually on the outside and wore down CHICAGO GIRL in the final strides. The latter had speed from the start, saved ground in the stretch and held on well. CANFLI raced close up from the start and tired under pressure. PEGGY J. was in close quarters early and lacked speed when clear. BOURBON MAID qu.t. FAIR MISSIE showed early speed. SCONE was forced back and never recovered. MARTHA FLORENCE eased herself shortlv after the start. LAMP PRINCE, rated along in hand for half a mile, failed to respond when briskly shaken up on the lower turn, but closed gamely when straightened out in the stretch and. heading WHILEAWAY, could not draw away. The latter forced a fast early pace, raced into the lead when ready and. holding on well after bring headed, appeared strongest at the end. VERMICULITE began slowly, raced wide and outfinished SKIRL. OSWEGO showed fine speed from the start, raced BURNING UP into defeat and tired in the final drive. BURNING UP showed speed under hustling tactics and quit in the stretch. KNIGHTS CALL closed gamely.
