: ; : i : ; , , BAKER TO RACE IN FLORIDA LATONIA, Ky., June 6— Col. R. L. Baker was a visitor from his Lexington home and reported that more than a hundred horses were quartered at the Kentucky Association-course. • "The passage of the Florida racing bill over the governors veto was a big thing for racing. Now horsemen shipping to that state for winter racing will have assurance that the meetings will go and I believe it will be a wonderful thing for the sport with the opening of tracks at Miami and St. Johns Park under a betting law. I intend to ship my stable to Florida next winter and there will be many others to do the same," was the comment of the Lexington horseman.
