REUTER SELLS VOLT METER HOMEWOOD, 111., June 6.— Mrs. C. E. Simmons purchased Volt Meter from Phil Reuter and the gelding was turned over to T. Valentine to train. The latter also took over Doctor Happy, Laura Negley and Es-coba Land to train for Mrs. Simmons, and plans to race the quartet at Arlington Park. Reuter has ten for racing at Arlington Park, and some of the horses he has in training for Miss Blanche Watson of Cincinnati, go to Latonia for racing in charge of R. D. Carter, negro horseman, who has a division of the Watson stable at Bainbridge Park.
