ARAB moved into command near the far turn and, shaking off SIR JOHN ALDEN, had speed to spare. SIR JOHN ALDEN, a factor throughout, had no mishaps. SKYWAY circled the others entering the stretch and finished well. BLUE SHIP overcame early interference. NIGHT PATROL had no mishaps. JUBILATION was a factor throughout. MERRY DANCE tired at the end. EXTEMPORE showed an even perform-ance. TOREALONG was in close quarters in the stretch. MOUNT HOLLY was pulled up on the stretch turn. LUCKITE jumped well and forced the pace throughout, responded to urging and drew away in the final eighth. BEELZEBUB handled his weight well, jumped sidewise and was not persevered with when he quit. The latter showed good speed from the start, withstood opposition from IRENES BOB and OSCULATOR and held on well. OSCULATOR, close up, showed a good performance and held on well. QUESTIONNAIRE, under early restraint, moved up fast on the outside, disposed of FRISIUS and, responding well when called upon, held ST. BRIDEAUX safe. The latter improved his position steadily, closed ground under urging in the stretch and finished well. SIDNEY GRANT came around the leaders entering the stretch, but tired badly in the last eighth. FRiSIUS was rushed into command at the start , showed early speed, saved ground and had no mishaps. REVEILLE BOY raced forwardly for three-quarters, then quit. SANDY FORD was as good as left. The latter, closest to the pacemaker from the start, responded to urging on the far turn, but could not overhaul the leader. RUBY KELLER, outrun early, closed ground and finished well. FARM HAND, slow to start, finished with a rush. BLACK BELT began from outside the machine. THE WHIP had no mishaps. CALL PLAY quit badly. CAMBETTY raced evenly. LADY BLUE raced green. ZOSARA showed a flash of early speed. EXHILARATE was shufUed back and forced out of contention.
