OLDER STARS IN FAST WORK Gallant Knight, Mike Hall and Paul Bunyan Gallop Impressively at Washington Park. HOMEWOOD, 111., June 20. — Gallant Knight, Mike Hall and Paul Bunyan, among the western stars ready to oppose the brilliant Sun Beau in the 0,000 added Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap at Washington Park next Saturday, this morning received useful preparation for that one mile and a quarter test Gallant Knight went the Peabody Memorial route in 2:08, breezing, while Paul Bunyan breezed one mile and an eighth in 1:59%, and Mike Hall stepped half a mile in :48%, handily.
