! WASHINGTON PARK NOTES I 8 Q, HOMEWOOD, 111., June 20. Tom Young left tonight for Latonia, where he will spend several days directing the quartering of the numerous stables due to reach the Covington track early next week. He leaves with A. C. Bostwicks request for stalls for Mate, candidate for the Latonia Derby, and four other horses, now at Aqueduct but due at Latonia next Wednesday. Walter Suggs is shipping the big stable in his charge to Latonia next Wednesday night, and John Troxler, with three, gets away at the same time. The large stable A. Baker is training for R. S. Clark, A. B. Hancock and himself pulls out Wednesday or Thursday for Latonia. Jockey Willie Carroll goes along. Knebelkamp and Morris Spanish Play, another of the good three-year-olds after honors in the Latonia Derby, will arrive at the scene of that feature of next Saturdays opening Latonia program, about Wednesday, according to present plans of trainer George Land. J. B. McGinn, veteran horseman, was an arrival from the West and may purchase several horses for racing at some of the smaller meetings. Jockey M. Rose, who has been riding in good form at this meeting, leaves tonight for French Lick Springs, where he will rest for a few days before departing for Latonia, where he will report to the Brown Hotel Stable.
