HIGH FOOTS SPEED DISPLAY CRETE, 111., June 20.— Although the racing strip at Lincoln Fields is in rare condition and probably the fastest in the country at this time, the Valley Lake Stables High Foot gave a remarkable display of speed when he worked three-quarters from the barrier in 1:11, handily, this morning. He clicked off the half-mile in :45%. High Foot may make his first start of the year at Washington Park next week and is scheduled to fill his engagement in the Arlington Handicap, to be decided over seven-eighths at Arlington Monday a week.
