. BOYLE VISITS MIAMI MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 23. Joseph B. Boyle, the new general manager of Bowie, is here from Maryland. Mr. Boyle .motored down from Baltimore and while here, he will look over the "Tote." Mr. Boyle reports extensive improvements at Bowie since the fall meeting at the Prince George track came to a close. The entire parking space on the grounds has been, levelled and lined out. Track superintendent Richard Pendings men have touched up the entire plant and some of the stables have been painted. Encouraged by the splendid meeting at Bowie last fall, Mr. Boyle predicts a banner meeting this spring. Many of the prominent stables will again take part in the racing at Bowie. Mr. Boyle requests that horsemen do not delay in putting in their applications for stabling.
