I CLAIMS AND SALES : There were two claims in the third race at Hialeah Tuesday. G. W. Ogle took Captain Ed from J. E. Wessler for ,250, and Mrs. R. Pollard claimed Spanfair from Mrs. Grace Denny for ,000. Bibor claimed Tarnish out of the sixth race for ,000. The halter brigade was busy Tuesday at Hialeah Park when five claims were recorded. Robert McKeever took Martinelli, winner of the seventh race, for ,000 from Marshall Field; Mrs. R. Pollard secured Spanfair for ,000, and O. Blank took Port Harlem for ,500. P. J Jochum purchased Obstinate Girl from E. K. Bryson and the three-year-old will carry the Jochum colors in her engagement at the Fair Grounds tomorrow. W. W. Finn disposed of Dextro to C. Hanzo but Finn is to continue as trainer. J. A. Coburn, at Agua Caliente, has sold the three-year-old filly, Miss Swarthmore, to Frank Talley and also disposed of Mont-ferrat to F. L. Tyler.
