HAVANA TRACK NOTES $ Kentucky Lad, owned by L. Rodriguez, which broke down in his last race, was destroyed. Kadiak, owned by Miss Blanche Watson, suffered a ruptured tendon in his last race. He will be saved for racing. Hernan Cortes, in the same stable, is recovering rapidly following a stone bruise. J. Gilbert, R. Martin and L. Ensor were tied for riding honors last week with six victories each. Ensor and Gilbert rode five days during the week. The total jockey payroll was ,680 for 384 starters in forty-two races.
