j HAVANA TURF NOTES e Jockey A. Cleff was suspended for ten days for his rough riding on Rita Lee in Fridays last race. Buddy Ensor, who was riding Chiefs Troubadour in Fridays race, had his left foot crushed. He will be absent from the saddle for four or five days. Horsemen are reminded that the second payment is due February 1 on nominations made in the Cuban Derby to be run February 28, and the Cuban Grand National Handicap, to be run March 13. The amount due in the Derby, if no declaration is made February 1, is 5. It is 0 in the Cuban Grand National. Dr. C. B. and Mrs. Baldwin flew over from Miami for a few days racing and are the guests of Clarence Buxton. Jockeys C. McCrossen and M. Dupuy were fined 5 each by starter Welter for disobedience at the barrier.
