I AGUA CALIENTE NOTES $ The firing irons were today applied to Mrs. J. L. Chesneys gelding Linmast by Dr. Boyd Jeffers. During the early part of the meeting Linmast bore out badly in his starts here and upon examination it was discovered he was suffering a shoulder and leg ailment. He will not be seen under silks for quite some time. Willard Mack, who formerly raced a large string under the nom de course of the Bill Bee Stable, has but one animal carrying colors at Agua Caliente at present. The stewards ruled that apprentice C. King could ride contract mounts for C. B. Irwin only.
