HUON JOY, much the best, was held under steady restraint for a turn of the field, then moved to tha front and was eased up after clearing the last obstacle. OWLET made a bobble at the fourth jump, but fenced fairly well thereafter and outgamed ADOLPHUS on the flat. The latter jumped well, but lacked speed. KINGS OWN was a trailer throughout. "SILVER MAN made a determined bid in the stretch, but could not get up. MONTFERRAT was in close quarters on the far turn and showed ia good effort. GENE OLIVER finished well.
