ALGOL showed early speed, but faltered under pressure. CAPTAIN J. S. had no mishaps in the running. DARK DAWN began slowly. ZEBRA was outrun. BILLYCOO showed a flash of early speed. HARAMZADA moved up fast after the break, was a forward factor all the way, saved ground and out-finished CAPTAINS DAUGHTER in the final drive. The latter, well up all the way, faltered after getting to the leader at the final sixteenth pole. STYLISH MACK moved up with a rush on the outside entering the stretch, assumed command for a few strides and then tired. BRAVE KNIGHT raced well all the way. FINNATH was bumped about after the start. EDDIE LEHMANN began slowly. BEAU ASPIN was in close quarters. CABARET was shuffled back after the start. SHASTA MINT quit under urging. Scratched 68805 Queen Towton, 107. MANAGER EVERS moved up steadily, but faltered under pressure. ANDRESITO showed an even effort. LEW BLACK saved ground all the way. BRIGHT SPANGLE, away slowly, was outrun. HOWEE, under restraint in the early running, closed some ground slowly. GENERAL COURT moved up slowly nearing the far turn, but faltered when placed under pressure in the stretch run.
