The MacCosgair Sweepstakes is certain to attract the best of the "babies" in training in this section. Miss Careful, a bay daughter of Chance Play Meddlesome II., has won three of her four starts, while Figuriste, another double victor during the winter season, has two triumphs chalked up to her credit. The daughter of Cherokee established a record for a quarter of a mile in her initial appearance under colors at Jefferson Park, then was defeated by Miss Careful. The Ormsby youngster demonstrated her class beyond doubt by coming back and soundly trouncing Miss Careful and in near record time for three furlongs.
