j FOALS AT THE HERTZ FARM Five, Three Fillies and Two Colts, . by International Star Reigh Count. CARY, 111., March 15. Fillies are in tha majority in the matter of Reigh Counts foals at the Leona Farm of Mr. and Mrs. John Hertz. So far five budding racers, sired by the turf hero of two continents, have arrived at the 1,000-acre breeding establishment overlooking the Fox River this spring and many others are expected. , The first of Reigh Counts foals to arrive was the colt from Anita Peabody, by Luke McLuke, which no less an authority than Frank S. Hackett says is the finest looking youngster he has seen in his thirty years connection with the sport. The colt, foaled on January 16, surpasses in appearance his year older brother, a member of Reigh Counts first crop of foals, Hackett believes. He is a light brown in coat color. The second foal, which reported on February 9, also is a colt and, like his illustrious sire, is a chestnut. His dam is Tetrarchs Captive, a daughter of The Tetrarch. The three fillies then arrived, the chestnut from Vanish, by Eternal, coming on February 27; the bay or brown, from Miss Begoe, by Bachelors Double, foaling on March 7, and the brown from the Luke McLuke mare Wild Notes reporting on March 12. Other Leona matrons which have foaled are as follows: January 10, chestnut filly, by Last Reveille, from Witchbroom, by Nego-fol; February 12, bay colt, by Stimulus, from Golden Heels, by Golden Sun, and March 12, brown colt, by Last Reveille, from Helen Betty, by Maintenon. Miss Begoes foal came at Foxcatcher Farms in Virginia, where the mare was sent to be bred to The Satrap. Golden Heels is at Claiborne Stud, in Kentucky, to be returned to Stimulus, while Witchbroom is at Slickaway Farm, in Kentucky, where she will be bred to Fair Wind. Helen Betty is at Otto W. Lehmanns Chesney Farms at Lake Villa, 111., being owned in partnership with the president of the Arlington Park Jockey Club. Last Reveille stands at Leona with Reigh Count and Fair Wind, another Hertz stallion, is at Hinata Farm in Kentucky,
