AGUA CALIENTE NOTES ? 4 Marine, the Canadian owned animal, from the stable of K. Dawes, was boosted from 6 to 1 to 8 to 1 in the Agua Caliente future book this morning. Terry OMalley, who has been at Agua Caliente during the meeting, will leave for . the East in a few days. Francis Dunne has received stall reservation blanks for the spring meeting at Exposition Park, Aurora. H. A. Wolfe, Australian editor now visiting here, states that his home land is greatly interested over Phar Laps invasion of America and each bit of news concerning the animal is eagerly sought by the Australian press. Mr. Wolfe is of the opinion that Phar Lap will win the race by himself. William P. Kyne, well known San Francisco promoter and one of Americas outstanding handicappers, has wired for reservations for Agua Caliente Handicap day. J. W. Williamson, Del Monte racing" manager, was an arrival. He is seeking jumpers to participate in the one-day meeting to be given at Del Monte, April 3. Charlie Gross, trainer of Spanish Play, is an old Tijuana rider. He is still remembered in the West as one of the best of the two-year-old pilots. Steve ODonnell, who rode Mike Hall to victory in the Agua Caliente Handicap last season, does not favor the chances of Phar Lap in this years renewal of the race. Steve rode Phusla, which came from France, some years back in the Coffroth Handicap. Jockey Guy De Peso had his first mount since his reinstatement when he rode De-volta in the third race Tuesday. Jockey H. Maddux returned to the saddle after serving a short suspension. - i
