1 TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES Frank M. Bray left for the Brandon Farm in Virginia Tuesday night. On his arrival he will take up the horses wintered at the farm and arrange for their shipment to Bowie. The Brandon youngsters have been in training for a couple of months. Several of them are said to have shown enough to warrant that they will develop into useful racers. Bray arranged with H. S. Hart to look after the horses he is leaving here. A big delegation came in from Cuba this morning and were at Tropical Park looking the sport over. S. C. Nuckols, who acted as steward at Oriental Park, will stop over for a couple of days. He was accompanied by Bill Snyder, who filled the position of patrol judge at the Havana course. Julian White, Dr. Asche and Oscar Chaney were among others noticed in the crowd. Jockey Willie Curran, one of the leading riders at Oriental Park, stopped over to visit with his friend W. Mulholland. Curran rode something like thirty-five winners at Oriental Park. He has several offers, among them one to ride for A. C. Bostwick. J. T. Kermath is shipping his stable from Hialeah to Belmont Park Wednesday. Included in his string is the good two-year-old Helios. Walter Anderson, of Bridgeport, Conn., formerly interested in the Coney Island race course near Cincinnati, was a visitor.
