Two years ago he was J astride John Hay Whitneys Sir Lindsay, when the Irish-bred steeplechaser was nar-r r- rowly defeated for the spoils in the Grand d National, as he finished third to Shaun Goil-- 1- in and Mclllerays Belle. This season he ie piloted Shaun Goilin into third place behind d , Forbra and Egremont in the Liverpool 1 classic.
