Y., May 26— Dudley Wil-i £ Hams, a successful English rider through the field, arrived in New York last Saturday y and will remain in this country until the e fall. While here Williams will ride the e horses owned by the international sports-, j. man, F. Ambrose Clark. In the front line e of his profession in England, Williams, for ,r the past two years has been associated with n trainer Ivor Anthony at Wroughton in Wilt-i t shire, for which establishment he rode numerous winners. Two years ago he was J astride John Hay Whitneys Sir Lindsay, when the Irish-bred steeplechaser was nar-r r- rowly defeated for the spoils in the Grand d National, as he finished third to Shaun Goil-- 1- in and Mclllerays Belle. This season he ie piloted Shaun Goilin into third place behind d , Forbra and Egremont in the Liverpool 1 classic.
