WEIGHTS FOR INAUGURAL Gallant Knight 124 Pounds, Jamestown 122, Head List for Arlingtons Opening Feature. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 24. Gallant Knight was established as the top weight with 124 pounds in the ,000 Arlington Inaugural Handicap, to be run Monday at Arlington Park. Jamestown was assigned 122 pounds by Joseph McLennan, racing secretary and handicapper, who announced the weights late yesterday. Jamestown, owned by George D. Widener, is considered a sure starter by McLennan, while the Audley Farm star is believed to be a probable starter. Other well known horses and their imposts that may go to the post for the dash of seven furlongs are Silverdale, 108; Polydorus, 117; Sun Meadow, 114; My Dandy, 106, Don Leon, 105; Con Amore, 112; Burning Up, 108; Risque, 114; Pansy Walker, 108; Epithet, 113, and The Nut, 111. Silverdale won the two previous runnings of the event. The weights for the Arlington Inaugural Handicap, with ,000 added, for three-year-olds and over, at seven furlongs, out of the chute, to be run opening day, Monday, June 27, are as follows: Horse.
