ERINDALE STABLE IS LEADER Won Four Races and ,900 Dur ing Meeting at Long Branch. Gay Parisian and S. W. Labrots Tred Avo Capture the Two Stakes Clancy and Lang Star Jockeys. Honors were fairly well distributed during the Long Branch meeting at Toronto, although the Erindale Stable had a good margin at the top of. the money column, winning ,900. There were four winners from this establishment and Gay Parisian took down the Canadian Breeders Handicap, one of the two stakes, which had a winners share of ,800. Trainer A. E. Alexandra saddled for the Erindale Stable, in addition to Gay Parisian, Marie Gaiety, Santa Crest and Bald Crest, a two-year-old. Winners of as many as three races wer$ H. C. Hatch, J. E. Smallman, Pasadena Stable, J. C. Fletcher and Mrs. R. Pollard. Hatch won ,935 through the victories of Montanaro, Partisan and Rome Vennie, and a flock of seconds. Smallmans winners were Boscobel, Sea Kale and Bright Day and he had a number of others in the money, his total reaching ,825. Tred Avon was S. W. Labrots only winner, but the Sir Greysteel filly captured the Royal York Hotel Handicap, worth ,800 to the winner. Mrs. R. Pollards Uluniu and A. Hullcoats The Point were double winners. Joe Flores was the leading winner for, the Pasadena Stable. M. Clancy met with most success in the saddle. He had thirty mounts and piloted six winners. C. Lang had only seven mounts but three were winners and he easily led ini the percentage column. Favorite players had a better than aver- age run of success, forty-seven per cent of the shortest priced horses winning.
