Won driving; second and third the same. BLUE JOHN showed the most speed throughout but barely lasted. COOTS showed sudden imporvement challenged gamely m the last sixteenth and finished resolutely. HIPPIAS came strongly on the outside of the others m the stretch and finished fast. FINIR came again in the closing eighth. -DRY NATION finished fairly well, although tiring. BOOSTER TWIST showed early speed,, but was forced wide entering the ""retch and tired. PRINCESS DARE closed much ground and finished well. FORGET NOT tired. ED REESE improved his position SCALA had no mishaps and tired, as did SOUTHLAND BOY.
