ESTATE OF "CURLY" BROWN NEW YORK, N. Y., June 29. Harry D. Brown, Jr., is negotiating for the transfer of 1,200 acres, the property of the H. D. Curly Brown estate, which is located across the St. Johns. River adjacent to Jacksonville. It is understood that a New York syndicate is after the property. This ground was purchased by the late H. D. Brown with the idea of constructing a model race course on it for winter racing. Brown died three years ago in California, where he had made his home for several years.
