LOUCHHEMS SHARE LARGEST Ohio Derby Victory Gives Him Lead Over Bainbridge Owners. JLabrot and Respess Share Well in the Distribution After Sending Candidates for Best Stake Bun at Geauga Lake. . There was a fairly equal distribution of purse winnings among the fifteen most successful stables which ran their horses at Bainbridge Park during the thirty-one day meeting, which closed a short time ago. As the list of stakes was small, there was no other to dispute actual, leadership with J. H. Louchheim, who sent the winner of the Ohio State Derby to Bainbridge from New York. The celebrated Economic was victorious in this Derby and it was worth ,760 to Mr. Louchheim . The two-year-old Sweeperman was another Louchheim winner, running the easterners total to ,185. Only one other owner won more than ,000. This was Mrs. E. A. Carney, one of the two when sent as many as six winners to the post. Two of her principal winners were Prince Farthing and Kuvera. S. W. Labrot and J. B. Respess, who sent Ohio Derby candidates to Bainbridge, shared well in the distribution. Labrots Spring-steel finished second to Economic and took down ,000. Our Fancy, after winning a preliminary race, finished third in the Derby and, with his other starters, Respess ran his total up to ,800. Other winners prominent in the owners list were Shandon Farm, with Minton, Aure-bon and Dreamy Belle; Mrs. H. S. Hart, with Silver Cord and Coots; I. S. Shafer, with Scala, Great Artist and Copper; Mrs. A. Lu-zader, with Orloff and Claret; F. L. B. Stable, with King Pin and Madelon; G. Collins, with Shasta Lad and Racketeer; J. Grossman, with Watchgirl and Merrily On. A. Manale presented the star two-year-old of the meeting in Sunny Sideup, winner of the Hunting Valley Stakes. A. T. Walker and K. Ramsey led the trainers. R. Fischer and J. Lane led the jockeys with twenty-one winners each. G. Smith and E. Sylvia each rode eighteen winners and J. Sylvester fifteen. The total distribution of purse money at Bainbridge amounted to 44,180, a daily average of ,650. From a purely racing standpoint the meeting was regarded as a success.
