LATONIA RACING MATERIAL About 1,000 Horses to Be Available for Twenty-Eight Days of Racing Beginning October 12. LATONIA, Ky., Sept. 28. Approximately one thousand horses will comprise the racing material for the Latonia Jockey Clubs twenty-eight day fall meeting opening here Wednesday, October 12, according to a list of stable reservations as given out here today. Practically all of the larger western stables will be represented, also a number of eastern and Canadian establishments. At this time slightly more than one hundred horses are on the grounds and arrivals are scheduled to get in almost daily during the next two weeks. Following the close of Lincoln Fields several special trains will transport the bulk of the seven hundred horses coming from that point. A number of stables are expected from Canada during the next few days and divisions of some of the larger eastern-owned strings, embracing candidates for the Latonia Championship Stakes, Breeders Futurity and Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes will be on the grounds by opening day. Included among the larger and more fashionable stables that will race through the entire meeting are those of Mrs. Payne Whitney, E. R. Bradley, Charles T. Fisher, Jack Howard, C. V. Whitney, Edward Haughton, James W. Parrish, W. R. Coe, Wood F. Axton, Sabath and Lowenstein, Reichert Brothers, J. B. Respess, Laffoon, and Yeiser, James D. Norris, Jr., Charle3 Bacharach, P. A. and R. J. Nash, P. T. Chinn, Howard Oots, J. B. Lang, C.E. Davison, George Collins, H. Cavanaugh, H. C. Hatch, C. H. Knebelkamp, F. P. Letellier, Thomas Piatt, McAtee Brothers and many others.
