1 LINCOLN FIELDS NOTES Q . Former jockey Johnny Parmalee has made application for stalls for five head at Latonia. Following the Kentucky season Parmalee plans to ship to New Orleans, then to. Miami for the HialeahPark meeting, Lloyd Gentry has reserved stalls at Latonia for eight of the H. C. Hatch horses. They will be shipped from. Canada next week. - . According to advices received here from G. W. Ogle, the three-year-old Indian Runner, which was threatened with pneumonia, is on the road to recovery. Indian Runner contracted a temperature while in shipment from Lincoln Fields to Maryland. C. W. Hay, who returned Monday from his home in Kentucky, reported the loss of the brood mare Lady Liverpool, by Wrack, and a matron at Scotland Farm for several years. She died suddenly. P. C. Galliger, placing judge and assistant racing secretary at Sportsmans Park, was an arrival from his home in Louisville. Delivered, which was considered by many as being of Kentucky Derby caliber last spring, but which went amiss training for the big race, came out of his effort Monday pretty sore. Trainer Claude Hunt is of the opinion that the W. F. Knebelkamp geldings ailment is only of a temporary nature and he is confident that a few days rest will bring him around. J. O. Keene has reserved stalls at Latonia for Don Romirq and others in his stable. J. H. Moody, with the Shadybrook Farm racers, and W. E. Suggs are others with reservations at that Kentucky track. The Nash Brothers, Chicago patrons and owners of the. Shandon Farm, have decided to "weed out" some of the cheaper performers in their establishment and they will be offered privately by J. J. Greely, Jr. and T. L. Pierce at Lincoln Fields. Thoma3 E. Nash, son of Patrick A. Nash, part owner of Shandon Farm, plans to dispose of his older colorbearers and will race several home-bred two-year-olds next year. Melvin Calvert, among the more successful of the apprentices riding here, goes to Latonia with his contract employer J. J. OByrne, who is shipping five head to that course. Jockey Bobby Tilden deserted the local, riding ranks in favor of Tanforan. His plans following that meeting, were still in the making when he left here.
