SHORT WEIGHT DISQUALIFIES COLLINSVILLE, 111., Sept. 28. The winners portion of the purse of the seventh! race Saturday, September 17, was taken from Jewell Brothers Mrs. Foster and given to Miss Blanche Watsons Best Maifou, which, finished second. Mrs. Foster was disqualif fied for carrying two pounds less than the weight called for in the conditions of the race. The stewards allowed the protest registered by the Watson stable. By the new placing, Alamae, which finished third, was moved into second position; Principio was given third money and Wega, which finished fifth, was awarded fourth money. Tht betting was not affected.
