Ramsey ships his string, from here to Sportsmans Park. The stewards issued temporary trainer licenses ta Ben Meyer and C. C. McClain. The horses B. Meyer brought here from ; Winnipeg are Sweep Past and Pelaika. William Mitchell arrived from Riverside ! Park with Too Much Talk, One Long Hop and Battle Belle, which races for the estate of J. H. Edwards. - C. C. McClain brought Hal Dawn and Desert Girl from Riverside Park and C. C. Pool arrived from the same point with Gene Oliver and Mardie. J. W. Robinson arrived with Northern Spy and Allatin and turned them over to E. D. Slavin to train. Clark and Connollys Machilla was jumped on in his last race and received several cuts. Trainer B. Scheffel stated that the two-year-old will be out of training for some time. Jockey J. McLaren drew the first suspension of the meeting when he was suspended five days for rough riding in the sixth race Saturday. McLaren came over sharply with the winner, Formic, in the final drive. J. L. Cleveland arrived from Kansas City with Ricciardo, Darkest Hour, Rip the Rip, Absurdity, Pat OConnor and Ruthie. The latter two are the property of W. Louns-berry. Jockey L. J. Cunningham accompanied the shipment. Jockey R. Zucchini, who is staging a comeback, was an arrival from Kansas City and will ride free lance during the remainder of the meeting. S. J. Norris brought Dacite, Morroll, Kid OKildare and Northern Water from Riverside Park. Jess Burks brought Camp Parole, Justa Sheik and Wild Dreams from Riverside Park and took over Maximum to train for Mrs. J. Burks. J. E. Arthurs was an arrival from Kansas Cify with Cloisters Dream and H. G. Knott brought Colonel Cloister and Solus from the same point. Infinitus, Shasta Charm, Timekeeper, More Space, Miss Hutcheson, Finnic and Earl of Warwick comprised the stable that H. C. Rumage brought here from Riverside Park. J. G. Brown will campaign Kelso, Grey Bay, Garden Seat, Providence Lass, King Halma and Vantananha here. They arrived from Kansas City Monday morning. R. F. Coppage was an arrival from his home at Carruthersville, Mo., and plans to remain until the end of the meeting. Cop-page has three horses here in charge of R. Holloway. D. McDermid brought Our Pride, Easter Ann, Drastic Celt, Drastic Waters and Just Ormond here for C. N. Ingle, but unable to find stabling accommodations, he vanned them to Sportsmans Park. R. S. Eddy, Jr., general manager of the Fairmount and Jefferson Park race tracks, stated today that he has received many requests for stabling accommodations for the Jefferson Park meeting, which starts Thanksgiving Day. One of the latest is that of R. T. Watts, trainer of the Mrs. E. Denemark stable. Watts wants to send twenty horses to Jefferson Park. Chicago racing fans will have an opportunity of seeing Jewell Brothers crack two-year-old, Friend Charley, under colors. The winner of eight consecutive races, and Mrs. Foster, a stablemate, was shipped to Lincoln Fields today. From that course the son of Sir Greysteel will be sent to Latonia for the twenty-eight day meeting at that point. R. Richards arrived from Riverside Park with Morvichs Niece and Ravenal, and J. Wood brought Storm Maiden, Lavender Lady, Naughty Susan, No Fun, Punkie, Purple Light and Troford from the same point. E. B. Shipp was an arrival from the Kansas City track with Ante Bellum, Montferrat, Paragraph, Vladimir, Welcome Danger, Miss Onine, Broadway Call and Dodie Leighton. H. A. Allen unloaded Ad Remmcon, Rave, Enduring, Mad Flight,- Black Flash, Anne Arundel, Prate and Wild Cress. Shelton and Davis, Evansville, Ind., patrons, who entered the owners ranks during the recent Dade Park meeting, were arrivals from Riverside Park with Draha, Bootland Belle and Mijo and took, over H. H. Chopins Vole and Brinkley. Apprentices H. Bracken and W. Privett, under contract to H. C. Rumage and G. F. Jenkins, respectively, were arrivals from Kansas City and accepted their first mounts I Tuesday afternoon. Beginning Saturday, scratch time will be 8:45 a. m., instead of 9 oclock, it was announced Wednesday by racing secretary Julius G. Reeder. Leo Dandurand, one of the directors of the Fairmount Jockey Club and an associate of Joseph Cattarinich in racing, ice hockey and other ventures, has returned to Montreal after a weeks visit here. Gurgler, a carded starter in the second race Wednesday, was ordered scratched, on account of being ineligible.
